    Tanzanian, Media Consultant/ Founder of Ziada Travels

    A Media Consultant and an independent travel journalist, producing travel programs and content. Born and raised in Tanzania. Ziada loves traveling and sharing travel stories and experiences. She turned her passion for both to form a media company called Crescendo Digital that produces a TV show called Ziada Travels to showcase the beauty of Tanzania and the rest of Africa on a local broadcast TV station and on her social media. Instagram: @Ziadatravels

    Dr. Frank Minja

    Tanzanian, Harvard Medical School Grad, President of DICOTA

    Director of Neuroradiology MRI and Assistant Professor of Neuroradiology in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the Yale School of Medicine.

     

    Dr. Minja is also the Director of Global Outreach in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the Yale School of Medicine. Since 2008, he has been actively involved in supporting the Diagnostic Radiology residency training program at the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. While his own subspecialty is Neuroradiology, he has a keen interest in expanding and optimizing training in all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology in Tanzania and Sub-Saharan Africa.     Leina Lemomo

    Mother, Owner of Msafiri Travels/ Twende Kusini Camps

    Tanzanian, a Philanthropist. She has been in the safari industry for over two decades. Her safari interest started at the age of 9 years when she joined the brownie (girl scout) movement. From that first moment she set camp, she was hooked onto travel.

     

    Msafiri Travels was born out of her passion for travel in the African continent, especially on the true off the beaten tracks of East and Southern Africa. Now as an empty nest, Leina says she has a lot of time in hand to show you the real Africa. Instagram: @msafiritravels

    Timothy A Mdinka

    Founder of Land Africa Safaris and Serengeti Safari Marathon

    Born and Raised in Tanzania. Timothy specializes in designing different Cultural Tourism and Leadership programs for different multinational Corporations like Ericsson Telecommunication, collaborating with World Action Teams Inc (WAT). Team building, Sustainable Leadership Development Skills and working with Tanzania local organizations, like Nelson Mandela University. Tim also designs the special Sports tourism products through sports hence the birth of Serengeti Safari Marathon, one of the biggest annual tourism events in Tanzania.

    KokuGonza

    Musician Songwriter and Guitarist

    The daughter of a Tanzanian folk. Koku Gonza's sound is often compared to legends like Sade, Zap Mama, Saida Karoli and Mariam Makeba as well as contemporary artists like Corinne Bailey Rae, Sia and Lianne La Havas. She traveled to Tanzania with us in 2016 to connect with roots. From her travels she was inspired to write a song called "Zanzibar" stay turned in.

    Jermaine"s passion evolved at a very early age. His greatest passion, “street photography” led him to paths across the globe capturing moments of natives executing daily activities.       Tanzanian-American Chef

      Jocelyn describes her culinary style as Modern Home Cooking. As a Tanzanian-American, her food provides a balance of local swahili spices with an American farm-to-table technique. Her passion for cooking stems from growing up in a household where her parents always hosted family and friends over home cooked meals. Over the years, her love for cooking has become more than a selfish, pleasurable hobby and has transformed into a style of quick, easy recipes and tricks she wants to share with the world. I am currently located in Los Angeles, CA.

      "A Tanzanian-Brooklynite on A Journey"

      Justa spent her adolescence in the US before returning to her home country of Tanzania 10 years later. Seeing the lack of information on Tanzania in the US and falling in love with it more and more, Justa soon realized she wanted to get the narrative about how beautiful her country is out there and offer authentic tourism experiences. She founded Curious on Tanzania, which offers customized travel and adventures in Tanzania with a focus on sustainable tourism.
